I'm not really in the mood for the bullshit today. Not sure why, but definitely sure that I just don't want to have to put up with the bullshit that so often accompanies my daily routine.
Perhaps it was the way things went yesterday that has kind of put me off. Saying one thing and doing a completely opposite thing is one way to really get me on your bad side. Especially when it puts me in an awkward position.
Let's just say, for the sake of argument, that you've hired me to build your house. In order to comply with building codes you must use a specific kind of nail to fasten the wood together. However, you make it unnecessarily difficult for me to get the nails I need to build your house. Perhaps you keep them in a locked room. Perhaps the people with the keys are unavailable the majority of the time or busy with other things such that your nails request may not be seen until the end of the day.
This is often the kind of environment that developers work in and at times I can just be all Zen-like and roll with it. Other times it just gets on my last nerve.
