I had originally planned on posting a photo this morning, but forgot to take my camera with me. Yesterday would actually have been better. There was a thick blanket of fog that when seen from a nice position on a hill would most likely have made for a pretty decent picture. I suppose I could have used my cellphone but personally, I'm not real fond of the photos I take with my cellphone. While the camera isn't all that bad in my G1, from what I've read it's the lens that is responsible for the crappy pictures it takes.
I forgot my camera primarily because I had a difficult time dragging my ass out of bed. I have no idea why. I've been going to bed a little earlier and it's supposed to be a pretty wonderful day today with highs in the 40s. That's particularly nice because there's ice at the end of the driveway that needs some warmer temps so we can be rid of it.
But seriously, after the two weeks we had of way below normal temperatures, this heat wave is going to feel like summer is upon us. It had me really longing for the real warmer temperatures so I can turn up the radio, put the top down on my Jeep and feel the sun on my face. To be perfectly honest, that is the best therapy there is for a difficult day.
But those days are still a ways off. There's still the rest of this month, February and March to get through before an opportunity to put the top down might present itself.
