I've posted before about my self-improvement endeavors. I've stayed on track for quite some time. I know I'm patting myself on my own back here, but if I don't blow my horn who's going to do it. Yeah, you could say I'm pretty proud of myself.
I'm no serious threat to Arnold and I still need to lose some around the waistline. While I've been really good about eating better and sticking to my workout ( and making it harder and harder ), I really didn't know why the love handles weren't disappearing.
Most dieters will tell you that it is simply a matter of calories in versus calories out. You need to eat less than you burn to lose weight. My goal isn't necessarily to lose weight. I want to trim off the fat, get more fit and perhaps even bulk up a little. Let's just say that I wanted to maintain my current weight. According to this government website I need to eat 3200 calories a day!! I am most likely not eating half of that right now. My goal is actually to trim and tone and, as I said earlier, perhaps even put on a little muscle. So I need to find a way to get in around 2200 calories.
This will be a challenge. I'm just not a big eater.
