A weekend off

I wasn't lazy. I did it on purpose.

Over the weekend I had no interaction with the Internet in any capacity. I didn't check my email. I didn't check out Google Reader. I didn't really even touch my computer except to clean my desk off.

That's something that I rarely do. Quite often I'll tell people that one of the easiest ways to contact me is via email. But this last weekend was a weekend off from it all.

Instead I spent it catching up on various shows I had consuming space on the DVR like Fringe, Heroes, Lost and Harper's Island.

I also had DVDs to watch, but admittedly I didn't make much of a dent in the DVDs.

But the entire weekend wasn't spent vegging out in front of the television. I took care of a few things on the fix-it list.

It appears that it's probably a good thing that I did that because so far, this morning is shaping out to be the start of a week that may be a very trying week.
