Because I've been remiss in timely posting - here's a few links I found interesting:
I used to love watching the History channel until they became a channel that had little to do with history and more about other crap that seemed to belong on other channels.
I find it interesting that huge cable companies are willing to spend money to lobby legislators so that they can strip consumers of the ability to choose. I wish every city had the option and willingness to do what this city in North Carolina has done. Following this case is going to be enlightening.
Now what is it about waterboarding that doesn't seem to be torture? I don't get it? And this video portrays "interrogators" that are less aggressive than in other videos demonstrating the technique.
In other news:
I'll be working on the next installment of "Building a Blog with Grails" tonight. Look for it to be posted sometime Saturday. I'm also working on another side project that requires a significant amount of data massaging. Splitting my time hasn't worked out very well this week.
