Scare Tactics has been off and on the air since 2003. When it first came on the air, the episodes were pretty funny. It's been hosted by Shannen Doherty, Stephen Baldwin and most recently Tracy Morgan.What? You've never heard of Scare Tactics? Ok, Scare Tactics is a series that runs on The Sci-Fi Channel. The gist of the show is that you set up a friend to be put into a particular situation. Say they're going to do a temp job, clean out a warehouse, maybe even go to a party or something. The only thing is, the situation they are in is going to get very frightening. It's kind of like Punk'd only with a macabre twist. Maybe they'll run into vampires, bigfoot or a crazed, lunatic murderer.
I'll admit, there's nothing better than watching someone get the ever-loving, bejeezus scared out of them. This series does have some particularly good moments. But sometimes, it's a little disappointing when somebody doesn't go absolutely batshit with fright.
